DigiExam allows your teacher to administer a secure exam environment on your personal device so that you can type responses rather than having to administer a “paper and pencil” exam. Please review instructions below to make sure your device is prepared to run DigiExam.
Account creation and management:
- Starting fall of 2022, DigiExam now requires an account with a password to use the app.
- If you are a new user, you will receive an email directly from Digiexam to confirm account activation. Follow instructions to create a password.
- If you used Digiexam in the past but have not yet created a password, go to www.digiexam.com, click on “login” on the top right of the page, and click “Forgot your password?” Follow instructions to reset a password for your account.
Downloading and install the DigiExam app:
- You must have the DigiExam app installed on your computer.
- Download the DigiExam app through this link: https://www.digiexam.com/support/downloads-for-students/
- You must be using a Windows or MacOS laptop. School-owned Chromebooks and personal Chromebooks will not work with this app.
Before launching the DigiExam app:
- DigiExam requires all applications to be closed before starting an exam. Make sure any unsaved work (e.g. in Microsoft apps like Word) is saved and the apps are closed. Save or bookmarks tabs in your internet browser.
After the exam:
- DigiExam closes all applications when you launch an exam including apps that run in the background such as OneDrive and Google Drive.
- Restart your device so that all background apps are relaunched and your device returns to its intended operation.
